Early season cold temps, aggressive snowmaking and help from Mother Nature has enabled Loveland Ski Area to open its doors today. Known for being the first resort to open annually in North America, this October 7th start marks the earliest opening for the resort in 40 years!
Chair 1 opens with an 18-inch base and tree-to-tree coverage on 1,000 vertical feet on a run about a mile long.
