Kevin Pearce - overcoming the odds.
It's been over a year since snowboarder Kevin Pearce suffered a career-ending injury while training for the Winter Olympic Games.
The Vermont-native has since trudged the long road to recovery in an effort to mitigate the damage he sustained when his head impacted the icy lip of the Park City halfpipe.
In that moment dreams were shattered but Kevin's survival and perseverance is have reignited new dreams while further elevating his status as a role model.
