3-year-old Liv Dyer battling leukemia
We all live in various levels of bliss most of our lives. Yeah the waves might be flat, the traffic sucks, you're overworked and underpaid at your job, or maybe you have no job at all... more time to look at the flat surf. Even on the worst days life is still pretty good as long as you can get three squares and enjoy a Miller High Life once in a while, e.g. - as long as you have your health.
When life starts to blow is when your health -- or that of a loved one -- takes a turn for the worse. Last week TW Surf posted a link to help raise awarness about a young girl named Liv Dyer who has leukemia. Liv is the daughter of action sports industry veterans Don and Shawna Dyer.
Don Dyer is the national sales manager at Electric. Shawna was at Volcom for over 12 years as the National Sales Manager for women--she just left to be a full-time mom before finding out Liv was diagnosed with leukemia.
So please visit this Facebook page setup for Liv's benefit and donate if you can to help a young member of the action sports family.
After all, helping your fellow man, or (little) woman, is the best high life can offer.
